Dylan and his wife have served in ministry since the age of 22, beginning their journey as youth pastors before stepping into campus leadership for over a decade. Through those years, they developed a deep love for the local church—a love refined by both its beauty and its challenges. Rather than building platforms, they built people, discipling believers, raising up leaders, and shepherding others into their God-given callings. Though many asked when they would plant a church, they always believed their calling was to faithfully serve right where they were. That changed in 2023, when a clear prophetic word confirmed what God had been stirring in their hearts—a divine invitation to step into a new chapter: planting a church.

After 18 years of life and ministry in Portland, Dylan and his wife sensed God releasing them not just to obey, but to dream. Drawn by their love for coastal living, family-centered values, and the vibrant diversity of Southern California, they felt called to the South Bay area of Los Angeles. Out of that call, Neuma Church was born—a community rooted in the Spirit and dedicated to renewal, discipleship, and authentic relationship with Jesus. For Dylan and his family, this isn’t a short-term assignment but a lifelong planting. They envision Neuma as a place where faith and family flourish together, and where the breath of God brings new life to the heart of Redondo Beach and beyond.
