Pastors Kyle and Kara Veach have been faithfully serving in ministry since 2010, beginning as youth pastors before spending over a decade leading a thriving church in Washington state. Their years of ministry have deepened their conviction that the local church is the hope of the world—the place where lives are changed, families are restored, and people encounter the transforming power of Jesus. After a year of preparation and serving on staff at Daybreak Church in Carlsbad, the Veachs are stepping into a new season of calling: launching Discover Church in San Marcos with their three children—Boston, Beckham, and Berkeley.

The Veachs have fallen in love with San Marcos and believe God has called them to plant a church that reflects the heart of the city. Known as the “Valley of Discovery,” San Marcos perfectly captures their mission—to help people discover who Jesus is, often for the very first time. Discover Church exists to create a space where those without a church background can explore faith, find community, and step into purpose. For Kyle and Kara, this isn’t just a ministry assignment—it’s the fulfillment of a God-given dream to see hope and transformation take root in a city they now call home.
