Scott Kearney
Nashua, NH
Scott Kearney grew up in a big family in Concord, New Hampshire—one of five kids and a proud triplet. He met Jesus at eight years old in a small downtown church where his faith began to take root. Over the years, God gave him a deep love for his home state and a burden for friends and neighbors who didn’t yet know Christ. That burden became a calling during his college years and through seminary training at Denver Seminary, where Scott and his wife began to sense that God was preparing them for ministry in a new way. After serving faithfully in the seacoast region of New Hampshire, Scott felt the unmistakable tug toward church planting—a call that both terrified and inspired him.
Through a series of divine redirections—including turning down a “dream job” in New York and attending Exponential with a trusted mentor—God made it clear that Scott was to plant a gospel-centered church right in his home state. In 2016, with support from the SEND Network, he and his wife launched The Well Church in Nashua with just 35 people and a passion to see lives transformed by Jesus. Since then, the church has grown to nearly 200 people and has celebrated more than 65 baptisms. Scott’s vision extends far beyond one congregation—he’s committed to seeing churches that plant churches, multiplying gospel impact until New Hampshire is no longer known as the least religious state in the country, but as a place transformed by the hope of Christ.
